Wearable electronics, textiles and chain grease. We are a Berlin-based group of professionals who like to make fun stuff with new technology – and we love cycling!

A HACKERSPACE ON WHEELS

We build our unique bicycle jackets by combining portable Arduino technology and DIY ingenuity.

To execute these designs, we make use of a wide variety of tools, from grandma’s sewing needle to state-of-the-art laser cutters. Some people call this group of artists, collection of bright colours, lights and computer animations the “Hackerspace on Wheels”. We make fashion that is not only fun for us, but that entertains others.

A SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY

Our biggest goal is to reach out to poeple and to establish a sustainable movement by organizing workshops and Night Rides, to which all are welcome.

We also plan to develop an online platform that would allow for the exchange of designs and hardware configurations. We share the open-source mindset, and we hope to build a community in which people can participate easily in sharing and developing.

1. PLAYFUL CREATION

It’s not only lots of fun to build and customize your own LED jacket, we also experiment in other media, such as screenprinting posters to paste up around the city. We embrace the experimental nature of these projects, which drives our creative ideas.

2. MAKE IT USEABLE

Coming from a creative profesional background (designers, developers, photographers) our experience in the field of creation allows us to breathe life into ideas, transforming them into concrete products.

3. REACH PEOPLE

So, let’s have some fun with it – take it to the streets, meet new people, take part in one of our flashmobs or events, or join a workshop in which you can build your very own electronic cycling jacket.
